On behalf of all mammals everywhere, thank you for your compassionate outburst of almost coherent, mildly hairball-be-gone bonding, Keanu. That was the closest thing to something that barked and had a lot of inner compressed stomach gas – which might also have been a seal – that it was either me, or an animal in severe pain. Also, I have never seen you look so completely relaxed!

I can hardly carry a bat in my car anymore, after it. Sigh. I’m relegated to a large book, now, which is kind of…well…odd, really. I hope I don’t have to hit anyone with it. It seems kind of…spiritually polluting, in a literary sense. Disturbingly, I bought it at a used book sale, solely for the weight value, only to discover it was in Polish – which I don’t read. Now I’m depressed that I have such a large tome, and have no idea what it says. I feel I’ve cheated myself, intellectually. Oh, the horror! I hope it’s not a sewing catalogue. Without any diagrams, I could be creating either a building design, or a skirt – I have no idea. No garment I know of has more than two floors, either, and no hidey crawl spaces. I may have to approach Pennington’s for an architectural correction, or else clothe a bridge league with it. Sigh.

Um…do you know anyone who reads Polish? Alas, I must return, forthwith, to the House at Possibly Exploding Pooh Corner. That is, until they pump out the septic tank. Until the morrow…I sigh…..
