#1: I’m honored to be included in this group. A tip of the hat to Tilzy’s Josh Cohen and the rest of the founders. Thanks.

#2: As someone who went through the list of potential finalist nominees yesterday, let me tell you that there was no favoritism or insider baseball on the part of the IAWTV founders. In each category, there were anywhere from 20-60 possibilities to choose from, not just a short list of popular or celebrity-backed projects. There were many indie series AND many studio-backed projects. All levels of production value. Some with 500 views, some with millions.

They got a fair shake from me, and, I’m assuming, so will they from the rest of the Academy.

Looking forward to March 28!
