Sarah Meyers, the friendly-faced internet-celebrity who got her big break crashing a TechCrunch party, and who has since become a star lifecaster, web producer and web video host, just launched Pop17.  The daily, two- to three-minute show explores the cultural phenomenon that’s made Sarah’s career — micro-celebrity on the internet.

So far, so good.  The show is snappy, punchy, smart and professional.  Most important, Sarah’s personality shines.

But will the topic of micro-celebrity capture our imaginations and fuel an entire series? I think Sarah might be onto something here.
